Welcome to the World of Nerf Modding! 

Curiouse about 3D design and printing? Have Nerf blasters that are ready for a fresh new look? Then this online course is for you. As part of TechLabs Virtual Classeoom you will be introduced to the world of 3D design with OnShape and taught how to apply your skills to create custom mods for your Nerf equipment.

Session 1: Introduction to OnShape, Planning and Design.

Session 2: Transferring your design into 3D parts that you will have the option of printing. *

Ages: 9+. 

Course Level: Intermediate. 

Course Language: English.

Location: Distance learning from your home computer. 

Resources: For this virtual learning experience you will need a personal computer (Mac, Windows, Chromebook, etc) with access to the internet.

• OnShape.com: 3D Designs are created in OnShape which is available for free via any internet browser.
• Lesson audio & video presented via Google Hangout Meet. Invite sent out before the first lesson. Hangouts Meet Audio & Video can be viewed on:
  • Internet browser window on PC (Preferred/tested browser: Google Chrome or Firefox. Safari possible but sometimes has been prone to issues.) 
  • Or you can use phone/iPad with Hangouts Meet app (Android / iOS) to follow along the lesson shown by instructor while using the PC to create your own desin.
