Welcome to the World of 3D Design! 

Curious about 3D design and printing? TinkerCAD is a fantastic program for beginners and we are here to act as your virtual guide as you start your journey exploring the world of 3D design.

During our free 1 hour introductory lesson, you will learn:

• how to use the navigation panel and tools
• manipulating shapes
• adding or subtracting multiple shapes to create a lot of unique things. Together we will design a simple object and provide you the knowledge to customize and embelish the design. After the class you will have the option of completing a design to submit to us for 3D printing. (Nominal fee of 3chf per hour (print time) for printed part)

Ages: 7+ (Parent participation helpful for young students). 

Course Level: Beginner. 

Course Language: English.

Cost: Free (Select one from 4 available sessions)

Location: Distance learning from your home computer. 

Resources: For this virtual learning experience you will need a personal computer (Mac, Windows, Chromebook, etc) with access to the internet.

• TinkerCAD.com: 3D Designs are created in TinkerCAD which is available for free via any internet browser.
• Lesson audio & video via Google Hangouts or Zoom.  Invite will be sent out before the first lesson. 
  1. Internet browser window on PC (Preferred/tested browser: Google Chrome or Firefox. Safari possible but sometimes has been prone to issues.) 
  2. Or you can use phone/iPad with call app and follow along the lesson shown by instructor while using the PC to create your own design. Note this way you will ne be able to share your screen with class.
