Learn the science of rockets!

When people say ‘it’s like rocket science’ they usually mean a hugely complex task. But rocket science is also hugely fun! Join us to explore the forces of physics and engineering that can send humans to the moon and beyond.

Drawing on NASA and ESA (European Space Agency) teaching resources, students will build, test and launch their own rockets while learning about Newton’s Laws. Through hands on experiments students will learn aerodynamics, propulsion, 3D design, stability, safety and accuracy.
