TechLabs offers the ultimate Minecraft modding camp experience! Kids looking to level up their Minecraft skills will love this camp. Using the intuitive drag-and-drop development environment along with our expert instruction, students will learn to code their own games within Minecraft. They will test their creations inside of Minecraft and play together on their own private server. In addition, students will learn to custom design their own Minecraft skins and get a taste for 3D Design and printing custom Minecraft creations.Now offered in TWO age groups:
- Age 10+: Minecraft Modding with CodeKingdoms
- Age 8+: Minecraft Junior Coding with Minecraft EDU
Students will learn
- Making mods (modifications to customize Minecraft) based on the instructor's direction then customizing their own mods based on the provided knowledge
- Learn to code with a beginner-friendly editor (learning Boolean logic and basic concepts in programming)
- Develop logical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Play games together on a Private Minecraft server to test mods
- 3D design and printing
- Learn how to create, edit and customize your character’s skin
