General objectives

The aim of the course is for the participant to learn how to troubleshoot, maintain and understand the structure of robot systems IRC5.

Course objectives

After completing the course, you will be able to do the following:

  • Work systematically with error curvature
  • Troubleshoot based on symptoms and unit
  • Using methods that are safe for both equipment and personnel
  • Update resolver
  • Fine-tune a robot
  • Reinstall the RW5 and RW6 systems
  • Configure ABB IO Units

Participant

The course is aimed at staff who are responsible for and/or carry out electrical maintenance and service

Prerequisites

Good knowledge of using multimeters.
Good habit of reading electrical diagrams and troubleshooting in electrical systems.
