Course Outline:
• Beneficial to programmers and maintenance staff
• Suitable for system programmers or technicians with existing / developed programming
skills on IRC5 controller
• Instructor led, online demonstrations with practical exercises
• Language: English
• Duration: 2.5 Days


Prerequisites:
1. IRC5 Programming II or RobotStudio I.
2. Students must have experience using Microsoft Windows.
3. Each Student will require a computer with Internet connection.
4. Headset with microphone is required.
5. Webcam is preferable.
6. RobotStudio 2020.3 or higher installed (No license required).
7. RobotWare 7.1.0 or newer will also needs to be installed.


Student Profile:
• This course is intended for students who have advance knowledge and practical
experience on IRC5 platform and are looking to familiarize themselves with OmniCore
platform.
• For personnel responsible for creating/modifying program logic, maintaining, recovering,
performing basic tasks on OmniCore controller.


Objectives:
This course will be covered in 2 parts:


Part A: This section will go over all the changes in options from IRC5 platform and new additions
or modification on OmniCore platform.


Part B: This will cover navigation of OmniCore teach pendant, program structure and programing
on OmniCore. It also includes the procedure of creation and installation of RobotWare system
into OmniCore controller. Backup & recovery methods will be covered all as well in this section.

1. Navigate efficiently using OmniCore FlexPendant
2. Understand new format / extension of program and system module
3. Perform basic tasks like jogging, programming using FlexPendant, ModPos, editing on FlexPendant, creating tool data (TCP), revolution counter update
4. Create RobotWare system (Installation package) and then download into OmniCore controller using updated method compare from IRC5
5. Understand RobotWare Installation Utilities in detail
6. Understand different types of restart and recovery methods by comparing their equivalents in older platforms/RobotWares
