The psychology of power dynamics: managing egos, emotions and tensions in tough discussions 

In this session we will discover how internal psychological factor govern the behaviours that are manifested externally. We will learn how to harness egos and understand the sources of emotions and their impact on the dynamics in tough discussions.

Many professionals struggle because they allow emotions, egos and lack of strategic clarity to take over their executive functions. Often the simple act of labelling a discussion as “tough” or “high stakes” is enough to throw them off the rationality cliff. In consequence, they risk jeopardizing the chances of reaching executable solutions and compromise their business objectives.
