In diesem Kurs geht es um die Auseinandersetzung mit alternativen Erzählformen im Comicbereich und auch die theoretische Annäherung an eurozentrisch gewachsene Kunstströmungen. Wann ist eine Geschichte eine Geschichte? Woher kommen klassische Helden in der Comicerzählung wie Superman, Captain America und wer erzählt? Wie kann ich eine Geschichte erzählen, die den typischen Spannungsbogen auslässt? Und was ist überhaupt Abstract Comic? Was ist Comics Poetry?
Zeichnerische Vorkenntnisse sind nicht notwendig, ein großes zeichnerisches Interesse und Neugierde auf unkonventionelle Comics/Illustrationen sind aber von Vorteil.
