Learning how to communicate with robots will be an essential skill for the future. It’s also a fun way to spend your time now!
In this course we will study the mBlock5 programming language from Makeblock to discover how robots think, work and play. Each day students will learn how code communicates with micro-electronic devices, such as circuit boards, servos, sensors and LEDs. We’ll also learn the meaning of Artificial Intelligence by teaching a machine to recognize household objects.
Students will:
✮ Write block code to communicate with mBots, HaloCode and Teachable Machine
✮ Test results in real-time, uploading code remotely and see the action on camera
✮ Understand how robots ‘see’ the world with smart sensors and object detection
✮ Develop competencies such as creativity, critical analysis and problem solving
