Chinese ink painting is not only about the depiction of things that can be seen or the reproduction of images. Similarly to Chinese calligraphy, which is much more than just the mere depiction of characters, this fascinating art goes well beyond the visually perceptible aspects. With the help of clear presentations and instructions, participants will be introduced to the tools, basic strokes and classic motifs of Chinese ink painting.
This workshop is aimed primarily at beginners.
