Casino Style (Cuba style) Intermediate & Advanced, Figures, Rueda de Casino & Pasitos / Mambo.

The different names should already indicate the original of Cuban Style: It was at home in the plush Casinos & Cabarets Havannas as well as in the barrios & rural areas of the islandl. Cuban Style is in the dilemma that in the 70s, when the cuban style was born, there were no more casinos & cabarets in Cuba. The were mainly visited by the Cuban upper class & US tourist & were abolisched after the  Cuban Revolution in 1959. Therefore, the is no distinguishing between an Cuba "casino" or a "de la calle style. The Cuban style is rather playful, rhythmic & lively & has no clear direction. It is, so to speak, "shirt-sleeved" & little regulated. Nevertheless, there are various basic step combinations for the various, sometimes extremely complicate & confusing figures, which must be mastered in order to be able to carry out these figures correctly.
