An open class is taught for beginners, no previous knowledge is necessary, group & line coordination, basic steps of: Salsa, Bachata & Merengue.
The Cuban style describes a dancestyle of Salsa, also called "Casino".
The differnt names are intended to indicate the origin of Cuban salsa: it was at home in the plus casino & cabarets of Havannas as well as in the barrios & rural areas of the island. The Cuban salsa is rather playful, rhythmic & lively & has no clear direction. Nevertheless, there are various basic step combinations for the various, sometines extremely complicated & confusing figures which must be mastered in order to be able to carry out these figures correctly.
