Basics

Flat tyres? No problem. In this workshop you’ll learn how to do it how to assemble the wheel and and removing it, changing the inner tube and inflate the tyre properly . That way you ready to hit the road quickly again in no time.

We show the steps on a training bike: Removing and fitting the wheel (quick-release/thru-axle), tyre removing and fitting, changing inner tubes as well as common breakdowns ‘BZ_Pyq_fadeIn’>as well as identifying common causes of punctures . You will also learn how you choose the correct tyre pressure and and compatible pumps . Finally we will answer your your questions.

• Suitable for:
  Beginners, everyday cyclists and anyone looking to brush up on their basics.

• Age restriction:
  None; Recommended for ages 12 and over (under 16 must be accompanied)

• Equipment:
  No personal equipment required (demonstration on a dummy bike)

• Comments:
  Language: German (questions in English also possible). Held at the Cycle Lab stand.

  The workshop will only take place if at least 5 people register.
