Advanced Design, Robotics, 3D Fabrication, and Programming
This advanced STEM course immerses students in product design, robotics, 3D fabrication, and coding. Each semester, participants engage in innovative, real-world projects like VEX Robotics competitions and the Makable Challenge. Students gain practical experience by designing functional parts with a range of 3D printable materials, such as Carbon Fiber reinforced PLA and PETG, while mastering OnShape to earn recognized certifications.
The curriculum also offers interested participants advanced opportunities in Python coding, video game development with Lua and Unity or Java for Minecraft, providing a comprehensive exploration of cutting-edge science and technology.
The curriculum of this course aims at going further in the discovery of science and technology.
Children will learn and explore:
Python coding: solve mini challenges to learn about more advanced programming concepts
design and built robots to solve specific problems with a team. Possibility to join the robotic competition.
introduction to Unity to develop more advanced Video game
Augmented reality: develop your own universe and interact with it using headset
develop your own mod in Minecraft
learn about application and web development
