Current Course Project
Theme:
For this semester, we will utilize MakeBlock Neuron blocks in combination with tablet computers to invent solutions to solve real world problems. Children will enjoy many creative challenge that require them to think about expressing a problem in cause and effect terms. They will build and create unique designs that are enhanced with interactive sensors response programs that activate programmable flashing lights, custom sounds, and motion.
Children will learn and explore:
- Robotics: What is a robot? How do they work?
- Programming: learn about the basic coding concepts that are common to all programming languages.
- Design a Project with a Purpose: Aligned to a Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) students invent solutions and submit Projects For Consideration in the Global MakeX Spark Competition
- Team spirit: finding the solution of a problem together, sharing knowledge, and using each member's best skill and ability.
