Eviden Fast Start Training

This is an on-site course at LRZ in Garching near Munich. There will be no possibility to join online remotely via video conference. Participants are expected to bring their own laptops. There are no PCs installed in the seminar room! 

Contents

This on-site course provides an introduction to programming quantum computing using Eviden Qaptiva simulators. The participants will gain practical experience programming with pyAQASM, Eviden’s Quantum Assembly language with Python extensions. The course covers logging onto QLM/Qaptiva, using plugins to streamline development, and building custom gates and circuits. Advanced sessions introduce the QLM transpiler and noise modeling, culminating in hands-on exercises using noisy simulation.

Prerequisites

  • Basic experience in quantum computing
  • Basic experience with using the command line in Linux/Unix environment
  • Basic experience in python programming

Hands-On

Content is presented in interactive sessions with demos and hands-on exercises. Participants are expected to bring their own laptops. There are no PCs installed in the seminar room!
