Information on training cost and reservation
We try to roster JOC trainings with more than one pilot per course up to a maximum of two pilots.
In the unlikely event of having only one applicant for a course or if the scheduled time of a course does not fit to an applicant, a single pilot session can be offered but only to a slightly higher price.
As stated above, we always try to offer the best price to our Training Pilots.
Please contact our office to make an appointment. We offer JOC's over the whole year in reliance to the Simulator schedule.
If you've any question about the training cost, don’t hesitate to contact our office by phone or via email
Here are the order of events for your two days JOC course
First day, start at 9:00 am or by your appointment
Welcome, with a handout of the JOC training material and a brief introduction to the training course (maximum 1 hour).
Simulator (4 hours per day)
Familiarization of the general flight characteristics of a jet airplane
(pitch, power, trimming etc.) and you’ll do some approaches (ILS, LOC, NDB) with landings or Go-arrounds.
You’ll be introduced in the special landing technique.
High Altitude Flight Charkteristics, Recovery procedures from some extreme flight situations
Extreme weather conditions during take off and approaches (max crosswind 35kts, windsheer on final or just after departure etc.)
You’ll be introduced in special landing techniques (De-Crab during flare, Touchdown in Crab, Sideslip).
Engine failures during takeoff followed by some approaches with landings or go-arrounds.
Visual approaches with a doubble engine failure and the special characteristic, landing the aircraft under this extreme situation.
Detailed introduction to selfcalculated NDB approaches.
(It’s again very important for a possible simulator assessment, for some airlines it’s a requirement)
On both JOC days, you’ll receive a short debriefing.
And of course on the last day, you’ll get your JOC certificate
