The project:

The market town of Telfs, in cooperation with the Youth Red Cross, the Tyrolean Education Directorate and the state of Tyrol, is once again offering learning support courses for elementary school in Telfs.

The aim:

The aim of the learning support courses is to

• deepen important lesson content
• close possible educational gaps 
• make up for missed lessons - and
• improve the children's language skills.

Target group:

This learning support course is available to pupils in the 3rd & 4th grades of the VS in Telfs.

Group size:

In the learning help courses, a maximum of 10 children are guided in learning and practicing by a qualified person, given expert support and accompanied in particular with their homework.

Waiting list:

If the course is already fully booked, you can register your child on the waiting list. You will be informed if a place becomes available.

The costs:

The parents' contribution per participant is EUR 50.00 per semester. Most of the remaining costs are covered by the municipality of Telfs, the province of Tyrol and the Tyrolean Youth Red Cross. If the learning assistance and the school day care overlap in time, the learning assistance can be used free of charge on these days.

The deductible of EUR 50.00 must be paid at the start of the course. If the excess is not paid by the second date at the latest, your child will lose their place on the course. This place will then be given to a child on the waiting list.

General conditions:

When booking a learning support course, attendance is compulsory for one semester. Participation throughout the year is strongly recommended. It is important that your child is also interested in improving their school performance. Punctuality and willingness to learn are required. The course instructor reserves the right to exclude your child from further participation in the event of disruptive behavior. In this case and in the event of premature termination during the semester, the parental contribution will not be refunded.
