Our Jr STEAM Inventors Lab is an open format for students to develop their innovative spirit!
Inspired by social impact, the arts, and everyday engineering challenges, we’ll create unique devices and experiment with various fabrication techniques like 3D printing, laser cutting, and Lego along with programmable lights, sounds, and movement. This course combines age-appropriate programming and digital skills with unplugged construction projects.
Example Projects:
+ Build the ultimate bubble-blowing machine with your own 3D-designed bubble maker.
+ Program an Earthquake simulation table to shake different frequencies. Then test your civil engineering skills to construct an earthquake-resistant skyscraper.
+ Build and code microbit-controlled Lego devices: like a Ferris wheel or an intelligent desk lamp: when the brightness is too low, the LED automatically lights up.
