Combine App Design with Robotics to build your own Smart Phone Robot!
In addition to learning to build a robot from scratch using simple electronics, this course will teach students basic app design and programming skills, using them to bring their very own robot to o life.
This course introduces students to the MIT App Inventor software. After an introductory series of app design lessons in MIT App Inventor, students will learn how to make a simple robot and then upgrade it such that in the end, they will use a smartphone to turn their robot into a programmable robot.
The robot can be further enhanced with custom fabrication using our new laser cutter & 3D design and printing.
