World Literature: The International Booker Shortlist 2022

Kursinhalte

We read and discuss the six Booker shortlisted novels from four continents (Europe/ Asia/Africa/ America):  a literary outlook on prevalent themes, styles, concerns globally

Vorgehen, Methode, Einbezug der Teilnehmenden

At each meeting, we analyze, interpret and discuss one novel (read at home by all the participants) with a helpful introduction by an individual participant or small group of participants volunteering (organization by e-mail or at first meeting) Active oral participation in English is expected,  allowing for lively debates and joyful exchanges! (The novels are bought by the participants individually and in advance, according to the set time-table)
